THE STARK REALITIES

Did you know that Dallas has the most people living below the poverty line of any city in America?

Did you know that 27% of children under the age of 18 have experienced hunger within the last year?

Did you know that the majority of those we serve do NOT qualify for government assistance?

These are the stark realities of food insecurity across the Metroplex, one of the richest and most economically diverse communities in the U.S. The Chris Howell Foundation has served over 89.616 families in Dallas, Tarrant, Navarro and Morris counties since June 2020, but we need your support to keep going! By donating today, you will be a part of their stories…

OUR STORY

The Chris Howell Foundation is committed to ending the cycle of poverty – not just through feeding someone for the day, but through our many programs and services that educate and empower them to achieve financial stability. Our core service areas include food insecurity, health and wellness, HIV/AIDS prevention, male empowerment and financial literacy. We are here for the individuals and families that don’t necessarily fit the mold. Many do not qualify for government benefits, yet they are underserved and food insecure.

OUR SOLUTION

We are raising money to purchase a new building in 2021 and continue our mission and work. A space to store and distribute food for families. An open door for people to receive health and wellness screenings, financial literacy education and more. We will build a trusted place for individuals to be empowered and encouraged to achieve better lives.
